TCW Magazine, Fabbri Furs, & UR SuperModels celebrate New Years in Furry Style!

January 2011- There's no way you could flip pass the new UR SuperModels' Fabbri Furs ad of Today's Chicago Woman Magazine! Promoted to page 5- which is really like page 2 when you open the mag- and right next to the "Table of Contents," shows appreciation on, and for, all parties involved. In case you missed the January issue of TCW Magazine, our UR Artists Division, featuring lead creative director Asha Spacek, and fashion division model Yelena Fedorchenko, were once again hired by oak street furrier, Fabbri Furs to create a posh new ad campaign for the affluent local magazine. It's no secret that you can't open a magazine or see a runway show these days that don't incorporate fur [somehow] into the fashion forwards' wardrobe- even if just muffs, a vest, or a hat.

UR SuperModels artists division commenced the relationship by creating a December ad for the young and suave up-and-coming private boutique. No stranger to the lavish streets of Oak and Walton Street in Chicago, Fabbri navigates by meshing their international indulgence, with traditional local boutique hospitality, adding creative edge and style, not only through their personally designed furs, but now evoked through their promotional image. Owners, Sergio & Brian were excited to work with Asha- trusting her vision to create a versed age and lifestyle outline for their December ad to coincide with the commercial holiday season, while going slight risque' for the January ad to blend New Year's colors mixed with freedom and warm sex appeal. The new campaign has received rave reviews, as this is a new direction than what is normally seen on such a traditional block of past favorite retailers and private shops. Owners on both sides, are excited about their future endeavors and continuously using UR SuperModels, UR Artists, and Asha Spacek for more brand consulting affairs. To be continued...

UR SuperModels Thanked by Editor of CHICAGO BRIDE MAGAZINE

December 2010- Look what we found! A lovely editor's note, by Cathy Demetropoulos of Chicago Bride Magazine. She thanks UR SuperModels (see bottom with image c/o ABC NEWS) for providing lovely models for the well respected brand. A timeless classic to blushing brides, Chicago Bride Magazine & David's Bridal easily roll off the tongue when you think of resource guide and bridal dress options. We really appreciated the opportunity! We used mostly new faces plus Jessica Meyer (mostly print division, 2nd model from left) who walked in Dubai Fashion Fiesta 2009 as the first American model for the segment. The article dives into their annual Navy Pier event at the beautiful Crystal Gardens.

UR Artists Land NEW AD for Fabbri Furs- Where? TCW Magazine

December 2010- UR Artists Artistic Director & Ceo/Founder of UR SuperModels, Asha Spacek, works closely with our artists in developing their skills, as well as using the proper budding vs established artists for precise client needs.

UR Artists (Asha as AD Creative Director/Stylist, others listed on image), were hired to create a full page ad for Fabbri Furs, a custom design furrier, located at 50 East Oak Street in Chicago. Adorning stores like Harry Winston, Prada, Hermes, Kate Spade, and others, it's one of Chicago's most prestigious shopping blocks. The current ad can be seen in the December issue of Today's Chicago Woman on page 13. TCW is an affluent local magazine that reaches a generous span of professional women, socialites, media, and businesses throughout the Chicagoland area in print and online. The magazine's premiere fashion photographer is the infamous, Victor Skrebneski. UR SuperModels was quite thrilled and honored to see the full pager neighboring the mag's list of bloggers and bios page. What great placement! Fantastic job & huge thanks to our freelance and UR Artists, plus local retailers/designers that helped pull it together!!!

Our clients noted, "Asha and her team exceeded our expectations, and delivered the type of ad we've always wanted for our store's brand image!"

UR SuperModels Continues Designer Studio Events: International Umar Sayeed & Shameel for Annual Hamdard Gala

October 30th, 2010- Designer Studio a loyal client of UR SuperModels, asked us along with a few other guest models, to provide models and co-direct (scene style/backstage production) the Hamdard Center 18th Annual Gala at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center. The spectacular Designer Studio, led by Luna Malik-Bunari, has a great eye for representing renown international designers (like HSY, Nomi Ansari- past booked shows) and this event was no different! On Saturday, October 30th, Luna showcased multi-faceted and fashion week veterans, Umar Sayed & Shamaeel

Shameel
Starting with a bang her debut held at Cafe Royale in London for an Imran Khan Benefit evening in August 1987. And there was no looking back. Shamaeel has to her credit some of the most exotic solo shows held to date in Pakistan. Packaged complete with ensembles, sound and light effects and staged at historical venues such as the Hindu Gymkhana, Ismaili Gymkhana in Karachi and the un-paralleled Orient Express held at the Karachi city station. Her international showings include solo shows in New York, Washington D.C., London, Dubai, Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bahrain, Rome and Delhi. Shamaeel took a bow out of the fashion industry to work in fashion capital of the Americas, New York. This time working as buyer for US based customers, such as Donna Karen Home, Club Monaco, Eddie Bauer, Vonducth Akademiks, procuring textiles from Pakistan and India. Apart from this she has regularly supplied bed linen companies such as Bed Bath and Beyond, Target Stores USA, Wal-Mart and Disney licensee’s. In 2007 Shamaeel returned to her first love - fashion designing. Geared with international experience of a trained buyer’s eye, she takes centre stage. Today she is supplying couture and prêt lines to the UAE, UK, USA, India and Pakistan. Shamaeel will also re-open her “Shamaeel Fabric” nationwide for mass apparel in 2010.

October 21, 2010- "Make A Statement," Design for the Cure Fashion Show hosted annually by the Junior Board Aids Foundation Chicago, invited UR SuperModels to model for the second year along with other volunteers and past guest models, even Miss Illinois that closed the show!
