Performers

RICH February (Chicago based- born Richard Foreside) Rapper/Model/Designer
Music Style: combination of hip-hop, soul and jazz

rich performing while male models walk
In 1999, Richard Foreside became Poor Rich and began his musical journey. After moving to LA in 2008, Poor Rich released “The lIllmanac." By 2010, Poor Rich metamorphed into Rich February, signifying the growth in his music, thought and style. Blessed with the ability to balance a fun sound with lyrical depth, Rich February offers a refreshing perspective to the current music scene. Touching on topics that range from complex relationships to the complex social state of today, February has been compared to the likes of Mos Def, Kanye West, Kid Cudi and Nas, but is much inspired by Lupe Fiasco. He created a special "runway remix" for the "Wild Orchid World Wide" show, and also sang his original track, "WAIT," which was just featured via Red Eye Lyric artist feature contest. Chicago is very familiar for Rich's suave style, and head to toe stylish ensembles when either appearing at the most posh affairs, or top fashion/media events. Many articles support his style, but perhaps now for his music as well. Discography- unsigned artist

Trizonna McClendon (orig:Chicago, currently: NEW YORK)
Genre: Adult Contemporary Secondary Genre: Urban/R&B

Whether you consider her music Soul, R&B, Jazz, Blues, Country, Alternative, Rock or Pop doesn’t matter to Ms McClendon as long as you’re listening. As far as inspiration, Trizonna is inspired by the legendary to the latest and will be the first to admit to having a very eclectic ear in regards to her personal taste in music. Her wide range of music appreciation can be attributed to her Midwest upbringing. Chicago, the place she calls home, is widely known for its roots in Blues and Jazz but is also the place where House music was born. Growing up in a city geographically situated in such a central location on the map has truly shaped Trizonna as an artist which was evident on her 4 The Soul-Reciprocity Inc. debut release Overtones & Innuendos. Her father, a former musician introduced her to a myriad of music as a child and it obviously affected her artistic side. As a songwriter she strays away from trendy writing styles using a more timeless approach with modern day flare which allows her to put a new spin on familiar topics.

Her press reviews stem from the UK, Germany, Canada, & US markets. We are lucky for her to perform songs: "Didn't See It Coming" & "My Special" during our event.

“King Green” (LA Based) is Michael’s stage name in the music industry. P.S.A (Public Service Announcement), King Green’s record label, was discovered in 2009. P.S.A’s concept is to inform the young future generation and the world about how to change and become aware of the known and unknown facts that are not displayed through music today. King Green is known to generate songs, produce beats and mix tapes.

Michael is from Chicago and studied at Columbia College Chicago for Sound and Acoustics but is now studying and residing in LA at the Los Angeles Recording School. King Green’s vision is to change the way people think about music by producing lyrics on an entirely different level. He currently mentors Chicago students about life and the way music has a lot to do with today’s society. His inspiration comes from reading novels, studying music from the past to the present and studying how the world reacts to today’s music. His sounds were actually recognized by some of our audience and artist staff.
Performed songs "Fly Away" & "Green Gold" were both produced and written by the artist(King Green) with the second including feature artist, Pharaoh Gold.

As seen at NYC "Ground Zero" 9/11 & requested White House Artist, the bio of Marc Rubin: WEBSITE: www.MarcRubin.com Curator Phone: 773 404-2233

Marc Rubin finished his college education in 1972. In 1973 he entered his thesis painting, "Ladies Of The Canyon", pointillism, surreal subject, acrylic on canvas 48x58 inches, in the prestigious Art Institute of Chicago - Chicago Competition. His unanimous inclusion into the exhibition by 3 visiting museum curators and James Spiers curator of the Art Institute created profound recognition for a very young Marc Rubin. Within one year his works were shown and sold in Europe, Chicago and New York City.

From this auspicious beginning, Marc has continued to astound the Fine Art world for nearly 40 years. His invention of "Pop-Cubism" in 1976, a style he created in response to what the artist calls 'Warhol's plagarism" has influenced myriad artists. Under the influence of his mentors Salvador Dali and Jean Du'Buffet, in 1978 Marc created "Synchronism" a new classic style which combines Impressionism, Cubism and Expressionism --indeed any two or more styles of classic or modern art combined into a harmonious whole is known as "Synchronism" In the 1990's, at request of patrons, Marc created a painting to put on loan to the Clinton Whitehouse, the masterful 60" x 78" Pointillist-Synchronism "Sunrise on the Shore". Always the humanitarian artist, by request Marc painted "The Day of Hope Fulfilled" in 1995, an astounding 64" x 64" Pointillist masterwork. The image of the daffodils from this painting are still used by AIDS charities and breast cancer charities.

Marc has been continually inventive during his long career, drawing on the past while pointing the way to the future. His website has received nearly 1,000,000 visitors since its inception in 2000, unheard of for an artist. Marc's paintings and sculpture have been collected world wide and in all 50 states. In the digital age, Marc has made his works affordable to everyone with "Marc-Art Giclees"where the artist prints his own Fine-Art limited editon prints. At MarcArtPopShop.com, you can purchase Rubin's art on everything from t-shirts to mugs, greeting cards and more Rubin's famous Pop-Cubism Chicago cityscapes are also available at Posters Plus on Michigan Ave and the City of Chicago Cultural Center Stores.
