UR SuperModels Support Asha Spacek in Winning "Outstanding Fashion & Business Award"

2nd Annual Outstanding Business & Fashion Awards Presented by Red Carpet Concierge of Chicago, hosted at the 400,000 square foot Grossinger Auto Plex on September 25, 2011 awarded Asha Spacek, Artistic Director & Founder of UR SuperModels. 

The 'Contributing to Outstanding Business Ethics & Achievements Award' named her for her "It Happens with Asha" business ethic and her achievement in unique fashion production- specifically the 10 model video window and print ad campaign in the window of Mali Jewelry at 204 North Michigan Avenue. Spacek fully produced, directed, and styled the campaign over a year ago with unfortunately some models and artists not still around to share in this honor. 

Asha chooses to speak openly about what this means to her:

"Success does not happen over night, Asha replies, however, many younger people think life happens as it does on reality television! Even prior to this award, I suppose [on this project] giving an opportunity to artists/models to see their work 24/7 as you walk, drive, bus, and taxi by on a major tourist street in Chicago, across from a major news station, our city's business district, and even next to Starbuck's for talent that not even 6 months prior knew what a portfolio was [as it was non-existent] still isn't enough! No matter how much you invest personally -with the freedom of the internet sometimes- you can be on top today and thrown under the bus tomorrow, lol, so to have Sandy from Red Carpet still remember AND rave about seeing the images from across the street, really touched me. She has seen a lot in this city, not to mention world wide, so I know she was not blowing smoke. I am grateful- I am adjusting to compliments in an industry filled with ridicule- but I LOVE IT- I will die with fashion and style being my life! Overall I am respected for what I do, but of course a few things will always bother you. If I gave up a husband for it, you know I won't let naysayers or competitive copiers get in my way, lol. I am speaking out finally- openly- because I want future women...young girls to understand adversity never means failure; it means due triumph, as mentioned in the bible."

CityScape Lounge at the Mart invites UR SuperModels & ASHA to Review "Royal Wedding"-coverage by WGN News

May 2, 2011- UR SuperModels Founder Asha Spacek, wears many hats throughout the company- ranging from CEO to Artistic Director, even makeup artist, stylist, and so on...well, as fashionshow producer of the company's 2010 showcase, "Wild Orchid WorldWide," one of her special guests Kathy O'Leary -author/realtor/corporate sales manager- invited Asha and UR SuperModels to review the fashion and special moments of the "Royal Wedding" this past historic Friday, April 29th. The viewing party was hosted by CityScape Lounge on the 15th floor of the re-designed, first Chicago LEED certified hotel, Holiday Inn Mart Plaza- covered by WGN News, "Around Town," with Ana Beleval.

UR SuperModels, The Dress Doctor seamstresses, and Asha Spacek arrived at 4:30am to begin the royal venture. Asha styled the models in a London 'Royal Wedding' theme, per happy request of Kathy and her friendly staff. See the final looks and festive mood of everyone after seeing the Prince William and lovely bride Kate Middleton say, "I DO!"

UR SuperModels Featured in MALI JEWELRY Window Ad- NOW VIDEO!!!

Starting at 1:37 full production of UR SuperModels sequence featured in this window ad campaign put to video, courtesy of Mali Jewelry. Models and UR artists were lead by creative director: Asha Spacek. UR Models from various divisions featured are: Maggie, Jessica Meyer, Jen-Yi, Alyssa, Brianna, Alexandra, Lindsay, Lisa, Ali, Yelena & Celebrity Health/Wellness Spokes Model Shea Vaughn.



Most of the fashion designs were created by in-house designer, JSN, Heather Mae, and Hector Javier-Monarrez, with photographers Five Rivers Chicago (MQ) & Edward Estrada, hair by Juan Jose Herrera & Steven Papa George Salon, Makeup by Sarah Squire & Steven Papa George Artists, and graphics by J Hunter Designs.

Thanks to our fab team who helped us create something quite unique on such a prominent street in Chicago. UR is the only current management/agency with this number of models, plus a Celebrity Spokes Model visible in a full ad campaign.

60 inch Flat Screen, down the street from the Chicago Art Institute & Millenium Park, next door to StarBucks, across the street from the FOXNEWS building, on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Lake Street displays 11 models from UR SuperModels in a 24/7 VIDEO AD CAMPAIGN in the window of Mali Jewelry- a unique accessories and jewelry store at 204 North Michigan Ave.

The video is still slightly under construction with 10 models Live as we speak- Alexandra Coming Soon...our logo will be enlarged, and the sequence will be better executed between now and when the owner, Brian Schaps returns from his 3 week voyage of finding more precious finds for his well established Michigan Ave store. Not only a tourist stop when in Chicago, but Mali has provided pieces near and far to many regular clients to local celebs for quite a while now.

UR SuperModels was hired to fully produce the images for the campaign- and this is just round one of many window appearances for the ever changing store. We were not all in one accord (as most artists/clients) , but it certainly makes a "wow" statement playing in the window at an extreme major intersection in Chicago. This "loop" area of town is home to many downtown business people commuting to/from work, students to the business and art schools nearby, and even down from the outdoor skating rink of Grant Park. This is also where our commuter lines meet for trains, cabs, and nearby Magnificent Mile shopping, hotels, restaurants, and lavish nightlife.
