Clients are cleaning out their Spring/Summer photo closet, as we just received a candid photo of MODEL DEBUT for Walden Kay (left) entertainingly loved designer and former "The Fashion Show" contestant Calvin Tran (center), along with junior model Alex Whiting (right). Many fans and mediums say they ONLY watched the show because of Calvin. The already established, retail savvy designer did not bite his tongue while being filmed on the reality show starring super model, IMAN and famed designer Isaac Mizrahi, even as one challenge brought "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," as models to the runway. video of Calvin's professional story below-

Cram Chicago called UR SuperModels mid-Spring, said they were having a Grand Re-Opening [mid-May] and since Alex did such a great job in the past, was she available for this special guest event! Walden & Alex not only modeled Calvin's fashion in-store, but also photographed in the Cram window for passers by.

Calvin Tran flagship store is based in New York, with a Chicago boutique for his second location, as well as select items sold with client Cram For Her-Lakeview.

Congrats & Much Success to Everyone!

PR Maven Names Asha Spacek, "Influential Women In Business" - part of Diva Series

June 2011- Hosted by TCW Magazine (a woman based lifestyle publication), Maven Chicago names Asha Spacek along with 24 other industry professional women "Influential Women in Business" titled, "Bizy Bees" courtesy of the monthly event, 'Diva Series.'

“These women are creative innovators and visionaries, ”says Maven Founder and President Sarah Vargo. “They really know how to get business done and will inspire many women who are
watching their strategic moves.”

Maven Chicago, a publicity and promotions, "connection" agency, hosts an event called, "Diva Series," in which they promote and honor women (yes there is also a "divo" aka, "male superstar" version) in business, the arts, and philanthropy. Most chosen individuals exude all three in their personality, marketing, and how they are perceived in their successes.  Their achievements are celebrated and announced by hosting an event in their honor, with visual imagery, company bio, and an opportunity for guests to meet and greet the "diva" herself, up close and personal- something not easily obtained.

The Diva Series honors influential and successful women in Media, PR, Fashion, Fitness, Culinary Arts, Beauty, Performing Arts and much more. The popular Thursday night cocktail series started at Jbar, continued at French bistro Madame Tartine and seductive Crimson Lounge in the Hotel Sax. The Diva Series is now the first Thursday of each month at Jbar in trendy James Hotel.

“I love the Diva Series because I get to meet the crème de la crème in each industry and inspire
the emerging Divas by making these women accessible,” remarks Vargo. “I also love putting
women on a platform to shine and create an outlet for them to showcase their talent and
accomplishments.

The Divo Series honors influential and successful men in Media, Marketing, Sports, Fashion, Music TV and much more. The monthly series launched at Bull and Bear and has been at District for the past several months. Sponsors include Thrillist, HALO [for men], Chivas 18, TheToiletPaper.com and Nicholas Joseph.
