UR male models start to get notice...

For quite a few months now, the buzz has been circling about UR male models. Their being good looking, charming, and very down to earth, AND reliable, has industry talking. Part time UR Supermodels' Tony Giamberduca is currently featured on Nicholas Joseph Custom Suits website! We realized yesterday, the campaign was on the website of the euro inspired designer/tailor of fab suits!!! It is the 2nd image that loads on the page (wearing light colored suit & cap). UR has worked with NJ for over a yr in UR fashion shows at the NewBerry Library Spring 2009 & the Terra Museum of American Art in 2008. This is our 1st online ad campaign with the NJ. Their construction, tailored fit, and unique style definitely as a male or woman, make you turn and say, "wow, what a great suit..."

UR SuperModels Ceo/Founder Asked To Speak at Naperville Fashion Week

UR's boutique agency founded by Asha Spacek, has been asked to host workshop alongside Julie Darling, at the "Best in the Biz," 2009 Naperville Fashion Week.
Extremely honored and excited, Asha will explain to models what scouts/agencies look for in models, go over core elements in developing as a model, true expectations in this industry, and other crucial topics in today's local & global market.
What has earned her the right as an infant agency? UR SuperModels may be new to the scene- still forming its foundation- ink has barely dried on their business accounts- haha, however, they have quickly proven creative marketing strategies in branding their name. They are not afraid of risks, and even putting fresh faces out there, that other agencies wouldn't dare! And rightfully so...agencies around for years (even older than Asha herself) have a huge liability- even investors or corporate hierarchy that must oblige. With UR, there is only one person- Asha, herself. She is very hands on, and experiences things from the perspective of the model, the makeup artist, photographer, the client, even the parents of models. She may not be experienced within her new baby management ideas, however, she has a background from seeing level of the client, the model, and the audience.
This type of agency will not be for everyone; but for those who don't mind being "out there," and hard work, since non-exclusive, it really doesn't hinder a model's career. Many UR models in 6 months or less have tear sheets, small ads, fashion show experience, and face time with various companies/designers. This may not translate to dollars immediately, but what model market does? We all must pay dues, build our portfolio, and crawl before we walk or leap.

UR is obviously known for their high fashion events, however, they have recently been high lighting their other divisions as well in the nightlife scene. They show their diversity by showcasing 'glamour' models, as well as some 'fashion' models, who are able to dub as glamour models suitable for the night life scene. UR SuperModels Steal another FC Mag Cover/Editorial Spreads

UR is lucky to be chosen of both local and international markets for the opportunity to have UR models' Yelena Fedorchenko as September cover model, & inside models Alexandra Rubio, Gina Alvarrez, & Erin Hammond in another issue of Fashion Chicago Magazine. FC Mag, gets closer and closer to international waters, creating strong competition for the Chicago market. Publisher, Azhar Harris credits this to not only wanting to be a global magazine based out of Chicago, but refers that it is much easier to work with international clients. He states that they understand marketing and branding even as a big name designer, photographer, or models. In the states, everyone tends to only work with the same familiar faces, and afraid to share sample pieces for things like photo shoots, and fashion shows. We are grateful he notices our diversity, being easy to work with, and fresh faces that prove to be loyal to the agency. Great job, everyone!

Special Feature of Sydney, Australia Designer Clinton Charlie appeared in the URSM Show. We normally do not highlight denim, however, the snug, clean, fit of Clinton Charlie, was PERFECT for our sexy Night of Seduction. Paired with Mali Jewelry & Accessories Thai Silk Scarves & Fresh Mother of Pearl exotic neck pieces, UR SuperModels guests, were quite impressed with the pairing.
